We have been asked to give our views on proposals for new deanery boundaries in the Bradford Episcopal Area. Here are the proposals and a map for us to consider. 24/5/16

We have these facilities:

  • Large print hymn books on request

  • Other dietary needs accommodated on request
BUT we don't have these facilities:
  • Assigned parking for wheelchair users (nor for anyone else!)
  • Ramped access to the chancel
  • Light switches accessible from wheelchairs
  • Ramped emergency exit
  • Excellent lighting
  • Signed services in BSL*
  • Very large print 30pt service books*
  • Large print bibles
  • Large print versions of projected songs*
  • Soundproofed room for noisy play
  • Worship suitable for those with learning difficulties
  • Group for children with learning difficulties
In other words, we try but we're not there yet. We are working towards national standards.

13. The last lamp post down Tunwell Lane is numbered 7.
14. The last number on the A&C Holmes plaque is 6.
15. William Waite died in 1873.
16. The telegraph pole is no. 165.
17. Light Fantastic is open 7 days a week.
18. The total of these numbers in 139.
The 139th name on the plaque is F Wheat.
